If you've always wanted to learn how to scuba dive, discover new adventures or simply see the wonderous world beneath the waves, this is where it starts. The PADI Open Water Class is the initial scuba diving course where you will earn your lifetime and world recognized scuba certification. In this class, you will learn from a PADI instructor in a safe, relaxed environment. By the end, you will have the skills and knowledge to dive at home and abroad with full confidence in your abilities.
The course is broken into three main phases.
Knowledge development to understand the principles of scuba diving.
Confined water dives in a pool to learn basic scuba skills.
Open water dives to review your skills and to begin your exploration.
Along with your Open Water certification, you will also earn your PADI Project Aware certification at no additional cost.
Prerequisites
Be at least 12 years of age or older
Be in good physical health.
Must be able to swim 200 yards, and tread/float for 10 minutes
